Remember the last time you hurt yourself? How you felt? How it impacted your life, your sleep, your mobility and the people around you?
Imagine having THAT PAIN for 6 months or it never going away.
This is what it is like for people living with chronic pain.
It impacts EVERYTHING they do, it impacts EVERYONE they come in contact with.
And it's more common than you may think.
1.6 Million Australians (1 in 5) over the age of 45 have chronic pain.
What if you could help more?
I'm not talking about just prescribing the latest opioid.
I mean really help.
Would you want to do that?
Would you want to help even if it took some extra effort on your part?
If you needed to improve your knowledge?
The Pain Course for GPs is designed for GPs and other health care professionals who want to improve the way they help people experiencing pain who attend their practice.
Totally updated in 2022 it features world's best practice as understood by Australia's leading pain practitioners.

The Pain Management Professional Development Grant will provide support to health professionals who are working with chronic disease patients to increase their knowledge and skills in chronic pain management practices.
This grant will upskill health practitioners in regions where there is limited access to a specialist pain service who can treat patients with complex conditions. This will support additional specialist pain management services being delivered in regional and rural Victoria.
The grant will be open from 18 January 2022 to 20 June 2022,
with a cap of $5,000 per applicant.

• Working as a health practitioner in the area of pain management or with an interest in up-skilling to provide pain management services with your patients
• Propose to undertake study or upskilling activities that will meet the identified objectives of this grant opportunity
• Provide primary care services in either:
