The HWSP bursaries are generally available for medical practitioners who work in a Private Practice in a rural or remote primary health setting. RRR settings as defined as Modified Monash Model (MMM) 3-7, ie. Practicing in or outside of a town of 50,000 residents or less.
Your MMM location can be found here. Choose the Modified Monash Model 2019 and enter your town in the "Find address" box. If you practice in MMM 3-7 you qualify for a HWSP bursary.
HWSP require you complete your CPD within 6 months, we will supply you with tax invoices, agendas and Statements of Attendance for the CPD you complete to aid in your application process. (Note you will still continue to have access to all lectures for 12 months)
Victoria: GPs practicing in Victoria have even more relaxed reimbursement processes and as long as you practice in private practice in a regional, rural or remote area you should qualify. i.e. MMM 2-7. Find you MMM location here. Choose the Modified Monash Model 2019 and enter your town in the "Find address" box. If you are in MMM3-7 you qualify for a HWSP bursary. If you are in MMM2 in Victoria you can apply for an additional grant.
South Australia and Western Australia have windows of time when you can apply for bursaries. You can purchase your course anytime, but only apply for reimbursement during the grant opening windows. More details can be found on the SA and WA HWSP websites
